Ljubljana Airport, Slovenia, otherwise known as Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, after the famous Slovenian dissident, is also sometimes know by its previous name of Brnik Airport. In terms of location it is very near the village of Brnik. Ljubljana is just some 19kms to the south and 11kms south of Kranj, both a short drive away with cheap car hire in Ljubljana Airport.

The airport itself is relatively small and basic, although there are plans for expansion. The airport is home to a number of different carriers with Easyjet, which connects to London Stansted, as the only low-cost carrier.
